David A. Jamison

March 17, 1957 — March 28, 2005

David was born March 17, 1957 in Iowa City, Iowa, the son of Rolland and Carolyn (Wilson) Jamison. He served in the United States National Guard and lived in Sun City, Arizona before moving to Winterset in June of 2003. David met Maureen O’Neill through a games room on the internet and they were later married on December 24, 2003 at the Madison County Courthouse. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Paul and Edith Jamison and Elden and Carita Wilson. David was an amateur actor for the Arizona Gunfighters, a touring drama group which reenacted scenes from the Western Frontier, for 10 years. David also liked sports and loved the outdoors. He especially enjoyed hunting and fishing. Survivors include his wife, Maureen Jamison of Winterset, his parents, Rolland and Carolyn Jamison of Winterset, one daughter, Heather McGlade and husband, Mark of Phoenix, AZ; four stepsons, Andrew, Mark, John, and Steven Golding all of England; a sister, Brenda Jamison of Peoria, AZ; two brother-in-laws and two sister-in-laws; one grandchild; two step grandchildren, Cherice and Scarlet Golding; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. Cremation will take place immediately following services with burial of the cremated remains to take place at a later date. Visitation: 1:00 to 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, where the family will be present to receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. , March 30, 2005 at Ochiltree Funeral Service & Aftercare. Service: 10:30 a.m., Thursday, March 31, 2005 at Ochiltree Funeral Service & Aftercare. Memorial: Memorial contributions may be directed to the Arizona Gunfighters.
