He is survived by his wife, Marilyn Spencer of Peru; mother, Pauline Spencer of Winterset; five children, Tom (LaVonne) Spencer of Altoona, Deb (Craig) Hubby of Peru, Tamme Frazier of Marshalltown, Ben (Tiffany) Spencer of Winterset, Becky (Kevin) Eaton of Geneva, AL; 17 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; five siblings, Mary Spencer of St. Paul, MN, Paul (Sandy) Spencer of Ohio, Ruth (Don) Taylor of Des Moines, John Spencer of St. Charles, Mark (Peg) Spencer of Des Moines; and extended family and a host of friends.
