Debra Lou Freeborn Caldwell, daughter of Walter Martin Freeborn and Virginia Killen Freeborn, was born May 9, 1955 in Des Moines, Iowa and died January 25, 2005 in Des Moines, Iowa, at the age of 49 years, 8 months and 16 days. Debra graduated from Saydel High School. She was united in marriage to Donald E. Caldwell. They were the parents of three children: Steve, Thomas and Teresa. Debra lived in Woodward for a time, moving to Perry in 1992, and then moving to Minburn, where she made her home for 3 years. She was a Resident Treatment Worker for Woodward Resource Center. She loved going to Hillbilly sales and enjoyed collecting antiques. Debra was preceded in death by her parents and her sister Sherri. She is survived by her daughter Teresa Olivas and her husband George of Oceanside, California; sons: Steve Caldwell and his wife Tabetha of Perry and Thomas Caldwell of Stuart; four grandchildren; sisters: Joan Freeborn, Delores Archer, twin to Debra, Elizabeth Freeborn all of Indianola, and Marie Freeborn, Mary Swank and Janet Freeborn all of Des Moines; brothers: Larry Freeborn and his wife Susie, Lloyd Freeborn and his wife Dixie, Jerry Freeborn, Kenny Freeborn, Keith Freeborn, Melvin Freeborn, and Homer Freeborn and his wife Barbara all of Des Moines; aunts: Leona Freeborn of Des Moines and Bonnie Watson of Indianola; uncle Vern Killen and his wife Delores of Carlisle; many nieces and nephews and many friends.
