Denise May Folk, 82, of Des Moines, died Friday, December 9, 2022, at the UnityPoint - Iowa Methodist Medical Center in Des Moines.
Memorial Service for Denise will be Saturday, December 17, 2022 at 2:00 PM at The Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 420 Watrous Avenue, Des Moines, IA.
Denise was born February 24, 1940, in Chicago, IL, the daughter of Nobel and Lucile Buchholz Olson.
She was a loving mother and grandmother. Denise had a wonderful sense of humor and loved Bible study, music and being near the waterfront.
Survivors include two sons, Evan Folk and Douglas (Jamie) Folk; three grandchildren, Alexander (Hilary) Folk, Micah (Evan) Folk and Talia (Kegan) Russell; one great-grandchild, Blakely Folk and one sister, Lyric Dold.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Michael.
