Dennis Gray

Dennis Gray, 70, of Winterset, formerly of Greenfield, died Sunday, January 13, 2019 at Winterset Care Center North. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, January 25, at the Immanuel Lutheran Church in Greenfield. Burial at a later date will be in the South Oak Grove Cemetery in Stuart. Memorials may be directed to the family and online condolences can be left at ochiltree.com Dennis Gray, son of Earl and Marcella (Tracy) Gray, was born March 16, 1948. He was a long time resident of Glenwood Resource Center residing there off and on from 1970 to 2002. Dennis then moved to Greenfield for about 12 years before moving to Creston and lastly to Winterset. He worked with Innovative Industries, helping in the recycling department, checking and transporting the soda pop supply, as well as cleaning floors; he was known for being on time and completing the tasks well. Dennis was a fun loving person who enjoyed sporting events, horses, water activities, attending church, the holidays, competing in Special Olympics, shopping, crafts and most of all, socializing with friends. Dennis is survived by his brother, Brad Gray of Des Moines; nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Earl and Marcella Gray.
