Dian Charlotte Barry

Dian Charlotte “Jerisk” Barry, 82, passed away on December 16, 2022. She was born on July 31, 1940 in Flint, Michigan. She graduated from Flint Northern High School then attended college at Baker Bus and Mott Community College. She married Steve J. Jerisk in 1958 then later divorced in 1984. Dian eventually moved to West Des Moines in 1986 where she met Don Gordon Barry whom she married on July 31, 1987. They moved to the city of Des Moines in 1991 where she and Don became members at St. Augustin Parish.

Dian is survived by her loving husband Don G. Barry; daughter Renee Y. Jerisk of Swartz Creek, MI; son Robert S. Jerisk of Burton, MI; daughter-in-law Julie Jerisk of Des Moines, IA; grandchildren Michael Jerisk, Suzanne (Joseph) Jerisk of Flint/Burton, MI, and Cole (Dane) Jerisk of Des Moines. She is preceded in death by her parents; son Ryan D. Jerisk; her grandparents who helped raise her; and her step-sister Karen Margaret Smith.

Per Dian’s wishes, there will be no services at this time.
