Diane Cronin

Diane Cronin, 77, passed away on May 2, 2022. She was born on February 12, 1945 to Warren and Genevieve “Johnson” Carver in Rockwell City, Iowa. She graduated from Lohrville High School in 1963 then attended Grandview University where she obtained her Associates Degree. She then attended Drake University where she graduated with her undergrad and Masters in Elementary Education. Diane spent 30 years teaching Elementary in the Des Moines Schools. Diane married her high school classmate and “Best Friend for Life” the love of her life Larry Cronin in July 1972. Diane loved reading, doing puzzles and quizzes from the newspaper, traveling, and spending time with family and friends. She is survived by her husband Larry; brother Jim (Judie) Carver of Rockwell City; nephews Brian (Missy), Jason, Kevin (Brandie); and other extended family and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents. Memorial contributions may be directed to the Iowa Chapter American Cancer Society in loving memory of Diane. A service will be held at a later date.
