Don Gordon Barry

Don Gordon Barry age 72 passed away on August 15, 2023. He was born on June 14, 1951 in Omaha, Nebraska at Offutt Air Force Base to Gene and Wilfred Barry. The family then moved to Michigan where he graduated from Davidson High School in 1968. He married his lovely wife Dian Jerisk on July 31, 1987 and later moved to Des Moines, IA in 1991. Don enjoyed the many friends he met through the modeling club and greatly appreciated all their support after the loss of his wife.

Don is survived by his sister, Jeannette Barry (Tom Wirries), daughter-in-law, Julie Jerisk, step-children Robert Jerisk and Renee Jerisk and grandchildren,  Cole Jerisk, Dane Jerisk, Mike Jerisk, Suzie Tabit, and Joey Jerisk. He was preceded in death by his wife, Dian Barry, his parents Gene and Wiltrud Barry and step-son Ryan Jerisk.

Memorial service will be held at 5:00 PM on Tuesday, August 29, 2023 at Caldwell Parrish Funeral Home in Urbandale. Visitation will be held 1 hour prior.
