Donna L. Klug, 79, of Des Moines, passed away Friday, April, 7, 2023 at MercyOne Medical Center in Des Moines.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, April 11, 2023 at the Winterset Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to the family for a future designation.
Donna Lee was born March 2, 1944 in Winterset, Iowa, the daughter of William and Gretchen (Harrison) Deardorff. She grew up in Lorimor, Iowa and lived in Winterset and Des Moines. She worked as a clerk for Child Support Services of Iowa.
Donna enjoyed gardening, crocheting and knitting. She also enjoyed singing with the Sweet Adelines. She was a master shopper and loved jewelry. Donna especially enjoyed visiting with people.
She is survived by her children, Linda (Don) Rinard, Ron Gray, Jennifer (Joe) Appenzeller, and Joseph (Erin) Klug; 11 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, granddog, Tank; and sister, Wilma (Jerry) Bucklin.
Donna was preceded in death by her parents; granddaughter, Misti Rinard; and sister, Betty Young.
