Donna M. Davis - Adel

Donna M. Davis 84, passed away from this life on January 15, 2013. In agreement with her wishes, she has been cremated. A celebration of her life will be held at 11 AM on Saturday January 19, 2013 at McCalley Funeral Home in Adel, with a private family burial at the Murray Cemetery. Family will greet friends for an hour prior to service. Donna was born on Easter Sunday April 8, 1928 in Des Moines, Iowa to Gaile M. and Mabel A. Creger of Sioux City. Following high school, she moved to the Des Moines and Adel areas. She was a full time employee for the Dallas County Courthouse and the State of Iowa for 45 years. Donna enjoyed reading, antiques and caring for her kitties. She adored and cared for her family, especially her six grandchildren. Donna was preceded in death by her parents, and her beloved granddaughter Jenna Myers. She is survived by her three children, all of Adel. Kelly (Dee) Myers, Conni (Steven) Herman, Chris (Julie) Myers. Grandchildren Kelly II (Miss Kelly) Myers, Joseph (Waynell) Myers, Christina Herman, Jessica Myers, and Austin (Nicole) Herman.
