Dorothy Souer

Dorothy Joyce (Dunbar) Souer, 85, passed away March 5 at Westview Care Center in Indianola. She was born in Rock Island, Illinois and moved to Indianola in 1959. She is survived by her daughter, Rhonda (Randy) Neal; daughter-in-law, Teri Souer; grandchildren Jason (Nikki) Souer, Jerad Souer, Jacki Fehrer and Stephanie Neal; two great grandchildren, Caden and Mea Fehrer; and brother-in-law Earl Burklund. Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents, sisters, granddaughter Jennifer Neal and her beloved son, Michael Souer. Dorothy had a passion for crafts, children and the Iowa Hawkeyes. She was a member of the First Methodist Church in Indianola, and requested memorials be made to the nursery at the church.
