Eileen Rose Bradley

Eileen Rose (Dodson) Bradley was born March 22, 1951 to Harold and Joyce Dodson. She graduated from Van Meter High School class of 1970 known to her friends as “Dot”. After losing her sight she attended St. Ambrose and graduated in 1998 with a bachelor degree in computer programming. She worked as an information technology analyst for Principle until she retired in 2009. In 2008, she bravely took the trip of her dreams to Europe with her wonderful friends. Mom loved spending time with her grandkids, she looked forward to her annual school shopping trip with the entire family which always ended with supper at Mi-Mexico. She made the best Christmas stockings and sent the most sincere cards that were always mailed perfectly to arrive at the right time. Mom was stubborn, fearless, independent, and the most loving person to everyone she met. Eileen was preceded in death by her parents, one sister, Lavonne, and nephew William (Billy) Dodson Jr. Eileen is survived by: children Frank and Kelli Hunter and Kristina and Lee Francis; her grandchildren: Randy, Taelor, Alexis, Jenna, Madison and Logan, and her four brothers whom she loved dearly Bill & Delores Dodson, Gary & Sandy Dodson, Jack & Kathy Dodson, Bert & Joyce Dodson and many nieces, nephews and friends. A visitation for Eileen will be held Friday, October 14, 2016 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Caldwell Parrish Funeral Home and Crematory in Urbandale, Iowa.
