Elizabeth Jordan

Elizabeth Jordan, 87, of Dallas Center, passed away on Thursday, September 27, at Spurgeon Manor in Dallas Center. A visitation in celebration of the lives of Ralph and Elizabeth Jordan will be held from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m., Friday, October 12, at Ochiltree Funeral Service in Winterset where family will be present to receive friends during this time. A committal in the Winterset Cemetery for Ralph and Elizabeth will be private and memorials may be directed to Spurgeon Manor (1204 Linden Street, Dallas Center, IA 50063). Online condolences can be left at ochiltree.com. Elizabeth Ann DeBok, daughter of Alfred and Dorothy (Clopton) DeBok was born February 10, 1931, in Winterset, Iowa. She graduated from Winterset High School. Elizabeth was united in marriage with Ralph W. Jordan at the United Methodist Church in Winterset on November 25, 1949. He preceded her in death on December 10, 2017. She is survived by her six children, Dennis (Denise) Jordan of Watertown, WI, Mike Jordan of Indianola, Debra Willis of Saint Charles, Randy (Dena) Jordan of Winterset, Gary Jordan of Adel, and Tim (Karen) Jordan of Clive; 13 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren. Also surviving is her sister, Janice (Pat) Flannery of Indianola. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Ralph; and two sisters and brothers-in-law, Betty (Paul) McKinney and Viola (Russell) Mapes.
