Evelyn Cline

Evelyn Cline, 89, passed on March 24, 2019, in Mesa, Arizona, from natural causes in Hospice Care with her family present. A ceremony will be held at Ochiltree Funeral Service on Friday, May 24, 2019. Burial will be in the Winterset Cemetery and memorials may be directed to the Madison County Historical Society, 815 South 2nd Avenue, Winterset, IA, 50273. Arrangements have been entrusted to Ochiltree Funeral Service and online condolences may be left at ochiltree.com. Evelyn was born on November 11, 1929 in Winterset, Iowa. She met Keller ‘Bud’ Cline at Winterset High School and they were married at the Little Brown Church on October 11, 1948. Evelyn was the mother of three boys, Randy, Ricky and Jeff. Evelyn and Bud lived in Winterset, Iowa; Mitchellville, Iowa; Urbandale, Iowa; and retired in Rogers, Arkansas; and later in Mesa, Arizona. While raising her children, Evelyn worked part time as a bookkeeper and secretary throughout her life. Evelyn is survived by a grateful family including sister Jody Griffith, son Randy Cline (Shelley Cline wife), son Jeff Cline, grandson Erik Cline (Lacey Cline wife), grandson Ehren Cline (Kari Cline wife) and grandchildren Courtney, Kellen, Hadley, Ladd, Finley Cline and many other family members and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband Keller ‘Bud’ Cline, son Ricky Cline, parents Agnes and Judson Brooker and brothers Bob Brooker and Carroll Brooker.
