Evelyn Lorraine Orr

Evelyn Lorraine Orr, 80, passed away Monday, March 2, 2020 at the MercyOne Medical Center in Des Moines. A Celebration of Life will be held Thursday, March 5, 2020 from 10:00 am-1:00 pm at Caldwell Parrish Funeral Home and Crematory in Urbandale. Evelyn Lorraine Orr was born January 10, 1940 to Russell and Letha (Kellison) St. Clair in Kirksville, Missouri. In 1961 she graduated from Methodist Nursing College. Lorraine was very passionate about nursing throughout her life working for both Mercy and Methodist in Des Moines until her retirement as a pediatric nurse on July 29, 2000. Lorraine is survived by her children; son, James (Marijetka) Orr; daughters, Rebecca (Todd) Ingham, Sara Orr, and Rachel Jones; grandchildren, Jacob, Olivia, Josh, Cassidy, Emma, Alyssa, Lauren, Luke, Stella; and sister Sandra Schaefer. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jimmie; mother and father; sister, Elaine Worthman and her infant son. Memorials maybe directed to the family.
