Faith Ann West

Faith Ann West of Lakeville, Minnesota walked into the arms of Jesus, her Savior, on July 27th, 2024 at the age of 69. She was born on February 9, 1955 in Perry, Iowa where she grew up. She graduated from Perry High School in 1973 and earned her Associates Degree in Business. She worked for Hennepin and Dakota Counties for 43 years as a court reporter.

Faith was actively involved and gave generously to River Valley Church and enjoyed traveling, gardening and bicycling.

Faith is preceded in death by her parents, Sanford and Elaine (Overton) West. She is survived by Bill Sherry of Apple Valley, her former spouse, and her two children, Tim (Jill) Sherry of Eden Prairie, MN and Talia (Cameron) Hayes of Woodbury, MN. She had one grandson, Luke, who was her pride and joy. She is also survived by her siblings, Joyce (Dave) Luke of Woodward, Iowa; Dale (Deb) West of Perry, Iowa and John (Teresa) West of Carrollton, Texas.

The family would like to thank her dear and faithful friends and Our Lady of Peace Hospice in St. Paul for the care and compassion they showed Faith in her final days on this earth.

Family and friends are invited to attend a Service and Celebration of Life at River Valley Church, 14898 Energy Way, Apple Valley, MN on Friday, August 30th at 2:30 PM.  Burial will take place in Violet Hill Cemetery in Perry at a later date.
