She was preceded in death by her parents, Orvel and Violet Sparks; husband Roland; oldest daughter, Janann Witmer; four sisters and two brothers. Some thoughts from her immediate family are of Frances watching the birds sitting in her kitchen looking out her East facing bay window was the start of her day. Love radiated from her overwhelming personality. Frances loved and was so proud of her home and little piece of heaven on earth. The trees, fences, deer, barns, holes in the drive way that never went away. Hick-a-nuts bouncing off the tin shed roofs. Every day she would survey her world with awe and excitement. Oh how she disliked those TV commercials. The mute button was her favorite on the remote. Frances fell in love with every straggly farm cat that showed up on her door step, her two very special dogs, Mandy and Pete and never to forget Amy the cat who was with her for over two decades. When questioned which she loved the best a blush came to her face and with a toss of her head would say “I love them all the best.” Frances extended her love freely to everyone unceasingly. Everyone from the mail carrier to the clerk in the store. Her family was special to her and everyone loved her in return. The mother of the five aces was so proud and the queen of her world and reigned with love and heart-felt belief in everyone. Everyone loved Frances and the world we know is less because of her passing. We are comforted knowing she is continuing her work to spread love from above with her beloved she has joined in paradise. Love you forever. Memorial contributions may be directed to Grace Lutheran church in Adel. Online condolences may be left on this site.
