Frances Alice Easley, born on September 15, 1938, in Bellwood, LA, passed away on July 1, 2024, in West Des Moines, IA.
Frances is survived by her sister, Peggy Bolton; her son, Tom Easley, and his wife, Jean Easley; and her beloved grandsons, Beau Easley and Brandon Easley.
Frances graduated from Northwestern College, LA, with a teaching degree and dedicated a decade to teaching in the public-school systems of Louisiana and Nebraska. Later, she obtained her real estate license in Bellevue, NE, where she quickly achieved notable success and joined the prestigious one-million-dollar club.
Frances had a passion for painting, playing golf, traveling to bridge tournaments and her cats Romeo and Rascal. She was an active member of the Jaycees in Bellevue, NE. Known for her lively presence, Frances never missed an opportunity to cheer from the stands at her son Tom's sporting events, often adding her own enthusiastic coaching and refereeing advice. She was also an amazing cook, famous for her creole dishes and chicken and dumplings.
A celebration of Frances' life will be held at Kennybrook Village in Grimes, IA, at a future date yet to be determined. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to a charity of your choice in Frances' memory.
