Gary Devore

Gary DeVore, 64 of Des Moines passed away on January 22, 2020 at MercyOne Medical Center in Des Moines. Gary was born February 13, 1955 in Des Moines to Carl & Phyllis DeVore. He was a 1974 graduate of Dowling Catholic High School. Gary married Cathleen Fogle on October 6, 1979. He worked for HyVee for 40 years. He enjoyed reading and spending time with his children and grandchildren. He is survived by his wife; children, Joe DeVore, Jeff DeVore (Megan), Katie Stanley (Trevor); grandchildren, Aidan DeVore, Quinn DeVore, Brecken DeVore, Hudson DeVore, Harper DeVore, Jack Stanley; siblings, Carol Messner, Linda Mosier (Dr. Brian), Nancy DeVore (Jeneanne Visser), Mary Jo Smith (John) and Brian DeVore (Carol). He is preceded in death by his parents; and sister, Diane DeVore.
