Hastings Funeral Home of Perry is in charge of arrangements for George Henry Moore, "Sonny", 84 of Perry. Sonny Moore died Saturday at Mary Greeley Hospital in Ames. Viewing and visitation will begin at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday at Hastings Funeral Home in Perry with his family present from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. for a Celebration of his Life. Burial will be in the Violet Hill Cemetery. George "Sonny" is survived by his wife Donna Moore; children: Linda (Jim) Hein of Perry; Connie (Gerry) Magner of Perry, and Jeff (Sue) Moore of Boone; 8 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; sister Gladys Hamman of Perry; brothers Keith Moore (Gay) of Ogden; and Paul Moore (Pauline) of Perry. Memorials in his name may be left at Hastings Funeral Home in Perry.
