Gerald Stephen

Gerald Philip Stephen, 70, passed away on September 24, 2022 in Des Moines, Iowa surrounded by his family. He was born on April 29, 1952 in Des Moines Iowa. He is the son of Beverly and Kenneth Stephen.

Gerald spent many of his years as a salesman and an owner/operator of his own siding company. He enjoyed boating, fishing, collecting trinkets, garage selling and shopping at various Goodwill’s, DAV’s, and other thrift stores throughout Des Moines.

Gerald is survived by his children, Jennifer (Pat Northway) Stephen of Colfax , Iowa; Heatherly (Johnny) Ollin of Des Moines, Iowa; Amber (Sam) Archer of Ankeny; 11 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; siblings, Lori (George) Flagg, Robert Stephen and Kenneth Stephen all of Des Moines, Iowa.

Gerald is proceeded in death by his parents, Beverly Martinsdale, and Kenneth Stephen; siblings, Mark Stephen, William Stephen, and Linda Stephen all of Des Moines, Iowa.

A private celebration of life will be held by family at a later date.
