Geraldine Conard 'Gerri' - Adel

Geraldine (Gerri) Conard, 92 formerly of Adel, IA, passed away Monday, July 28, 2014 at her home, Bishop Drumm Retirement Center in Johnston, IA. Family will greet friends from 4:00-6:00 pm Wednesday July 30 at McCalley Funeral Home in Adel. Vigil service will be 7:30 pm Wednesday, July 30, 2014, at Bishop Drumm chapel. Funeral services will be 9:30 am, Thursday, July 31, 2014 at Bishop Drumm chapel. Gerri was born on February 12, 1922, the fourth child of Louis and Sarah "Bessie" Forret. She graduated from Waukee High School in 1940, and is survived and lovingly remembered by her children Richard, Robert (Kris), Cynthia, Lawrence (Mary), Ralph (Jennifer), and her sister Sr. Patricia Forret. Gerri is preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Conard Jr., parents, sisters Madeline, Mary Evelyn, Joanne, brothers Harold, Eugene, Charles, and Joseph.
