Glenda West

Glenda West, 62, of Lorimor, Iowa died Saturday, May 11, 2013 at the Winterset Care Center North following a courageous battle with cancer. A memorial services will be held at 7 p.m., Monday evening, May 20, 2013 at the Word of Life Family Church. Memorials in memory of Glenda may be directed to her family. Glenda Ann Vigue was born July 7, 1950 in Gold Beach, Oregon to Glen and Elizabeth (Ross) Vigue. Glenda moved to Lorimor from Washington State in 2001 to be near her daughter. Glenda was a member of the Word of Life Family Church. She enjoyed gardening, loved her dog, George but especially loved her family and any time spent with them. Those left to honor her memory are her mother, Elizabeth Ross of Salem, OR; daughter, Veronica Greenslit and her husband, Terry of Lorimor; sister, Nora Ortiz of St. Helens, OR and her four grandchildren, Jordan Reese, Brady Reese, Michael Schwieters and Leigha Robbins. She was preceded in death by her father and a brother, Steven Frankovich.
