Gregory Nims

Greg Nims, 60, of Des Moines passed away on January 10, 2018 due to complications of pneumonia. Greg was born on April 18, 1957 to Dean and Marcy Nims in Des Moines. He graduated from Roosevelt High School in 1975. Greg loved fishing, camping, nature, and was an avid fan of the Chicago Cubs. He was talented in many areas and loved helping others. He worked many years of his life at The Paper Corporation. He had such a great sense of humor even to the very end. He will be greatly missed by his parents, wife, Allison; daughter, Angela; brothers, Dwayne, Steve (Chris), and David; niece Jessica (Aaron); and 2 grand-nephews. Services will be held in the spring. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the Animal Rescue League of Des Moines.
