Memorial gathering for Guy Jackson will be 10:00 a.m. to noon on Monday, September 29, 2014 at Caldwell Parrish Funeral Home and Crematory, Urbandale. Final resting place will be in the Glendale Cemetery, Des Moines. Guy was born on January 26, 1948 in Des Moines, the son of Guy Jackson, Jr. and Pearl Nolan Jackson. He graduated from Tech High in Des Moines and later attended Kirkwood Community College. Guy was an over the road truck driver and after retiring from driving he worked as a funeral home assistant and maintenance man at the Caldwell Raddatz Funeral Home in Des Moines. Mr. Jackson is survived by a sister, Linda Price and a brother Wallace Jackson, both of Des Moines. He was preceded in death by his wife Elaine and his parents.
