Harry Waters

Harry Waters, age 75 of Perry, passed away on Saturday, June 13, 2020 in Windsor Heights, IA. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, June 18, 2020 at 10:30 a.m. at the Carris Family Funeral Home & Cremation Care in Perry. Burial will be in the Elmwood Cemetery at Minburn, IA. Memorials will be given to Forest Park Museum, Perry, IA and may be left at the Carris Family Funeral Home & Cremation Care. Harry Lee Waters was born on December 20, 1944 at Des Moines, IA to Clyde Eldridge and Elsie (Branson) Waters. He graduated from the Dallas Center High School. He worked at Perry Lutheran Home as a CNA. Harry enjoyed nature, studying plants for medicinal purposes, living off the land, and collecting American Indian artifacts. In death he rejoins his parents, Clyde and Elsie Waters. Left to cherish Harry's memory are his daughter, Jaime Waters, Windsor Heights, IA, grandchildren, Nathaniel Soumas, Noelle Gertsen and Axel Hegstrom, and sisters, Donna Harris, Adel, IA, and Joan Powers, Oklahoma City, OK.
