Heath Kasperbauer, 49, of Templeton, Iowa, passed away unexpectedly at his home on March 1, 2025. 

Heath was born on June 30, 1975 to Roger and Jan (Bengard) Kasperbauer at the Manning General Hospital, in Manning, Iowa. Growing up, he attended the Carroll Community Schools. Heath worked in agriculture most of his life working in pork production and specializing in swine management. Most recently, he worked for Accu-Steel as a salesman. He was a member of the Central Church in Carroll where he developed a deep relationship with God.

Heath enjoyed the great outdoors, hunting and fishing whenever possible. He was a terrific trap shooter and competed and won many events across the nation. Heath also liked to ride his Harley Davidson Motorcycle and belonged to the “LOS” (Least of Saints) Christian Motorcycle Club. 

Heath is survived by his wife, Kamile Kasperbauer; parents, Roger and Cindy Kasperbauer; grandfather, Jed Bengard Sr. children, Karly Kasperbauer, Kobe Hinners, Charlie Tibben, Haley (Brandon Loew) Kasperbauer, Jake (Abby) Kasperbauer, Nick (Kylee) Kasperbauer, Tyler Kasperbauer, Sabrina Stice, Syrus Stice ; 7 grandchildren and two on the way; brother, Jed (Steph) Kasperbauer; and sisters, Holly (Nick McKenna) Kasperbauer, Stephanie (John) Muehring, Kenzie Weitl,and Jenna Kasperbauer; and many nieces, nephews and other extended family. He was preceded in death by his mother, Jan Kasperbauer, a nephew Asher Kasperbauer, and maternal grandmother, Esther Bengard; and paternal grandparents, Herman and Arlene Kasperbauer. Heath’s presence will be missed by all of those who love him.

A visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 15 at the Central Church in Carroll with a Celebration of Life to begin at 12:00 p.m. with Jon Sampson, Elder, officiating. A private family burial will be held at a later date. Memorial contributions may be directed to the family for a future designation.
