Henry Kenoyer

Henry Kenoyer, 82 of Madrid passed away on January 31, 2020 at MercyOne Medical Center in Des Moines. Henry was born August 10, 1937 in Des Moines to Harvey & Emma Kenoyer. He graduated from Earlham High School in 1955. His first marriage was to Edith Shaffer; there were 3 children born to this union, Laurel, Catharine and Scot. He was married to his current wife Norma for 42 years. Henry owned Kenoyer Sodding and Landscaping for 51 years. He was also a pastor at Olive Branch Church in Des Moines. Henry took many mission trips to Kentucky, Tennessee, Haiti, and Mexico. In his free time, he enjoyed spending time with his family, gardening, driving his tractors, raising his rabbits and spending time in the word. Henry is survived by his wife, Norma; children, Laurel (David Free) Stockman, Catharine Windus, Scot Kenoyer, Douglas (Shirley Daniels) Coglizer, Charles (Terri) Coglizer, Kenneth (Patti) Coglizer; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Bill, John, Terry; sisters, Corrine, Mary, Wanda; grandson, Nathan; and a son-in-law; Danny Windus.
