Howard G. Shives

Howard G. Shives passed away on August 17, 2019. He was born on July 2, 1935 in Chariton County, Missouri. He started off his career in the Marine Corps and retired as an Insurance Claims Manager. He also loved to golf and garden. Howard is survived by his wife of 62 years Char Shives; children Phyllis Griffiths, Greg (Tara) Shives, and Nancy Kugley; grandchildren Josh Griffiths, Cody Griffiths, Channing Shives, and Aidan Kugley; great-granddaughter Elora Griffiths; and sisters Donna Darnold and Nedra Nanneman. He is preceded in death by his grandson Connor Shives and son-in-law John Griffiths. There will be a private family service at a later date.
