Inez M. Vodenik

Inez Matilda Vodenik, daughter of Henry Wiese and Emma Boyens Wiese, was born October 28, 1923 in Manilla, Iowa. She attended schools in Audubon County, Iowa., Inez was baptized and confirmed in the Lutheran Faith. In 1996 Inez was baptized in the First Baptist Church in Perry, Iowa, and became a member of that church. Inez was a sales clerk for many years, working for Harlan Koenen at Fashion III, Fashions on Second and Hallmark. She retired about 1997. Inez loved people and enjoyed scrapbooking (even before it was popular!!) cooking, and cats. Inez was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Vernon Vodenik in 1978; her parents in the 1980's and her brother Amos Wiese in 1998. She is survived by her son Larry Vodenik and his wife Josefine of Perry, Iowa; grandson Josiah Vodenik of Perry, Iowa; step grandson Josef Reed of Orlando, Florida; and step-granddaughter Jodie Gratias and family of Waukee, Iowa; brothers: Merlin Wiese of Auburn, Washington ; Roger Wiese and wife Karen of Milford, Iowa; many nieces and nephews, other relatives and many friends.
