Jackie Ray Baird, son of Lloyd Melvin Baird and Mary Ann Melcina-Miller, was born February 2, 1948 in Jefferson, Iowa and died February 23, 2022 at the Greene County Medical Center in Jefferson. Jack was preceded in death by his parents; brothers Lester James Ba Ronald Dean Baird; and sisters Terry Jean Rasmussen, and Loretta Lavon Fisher. He is survived by his children Zenita Steadman (Richard), and Terry Baird; grandchildren Cory Steadman (Olivia), Courtney Gonzalez (Rigo), Logan Steadman (Caitlyn), and Jordan Baird; great-grandson Carson Steadman; brothers and sisters: Lloyd Melvin Baird Jr., Mary Ann Kennedy, Marsha Mae McClean, Charles Robert Baird, Linda Denise McGaugh, Julius Leroy Baird, Michael Allen Baird, and Deborah Sue Tilley.
