Jacqueline Flinn 'Jackie' - Adel

Jacqueline "Jackie" Flinn died peacefully at Spurgeon Manor, Dallas Center, on May 22, 2013. Funeral Services will be 10 a.m. Saturday, May 25, at McCalley Funeral Home in Adel. Friends may call after 2:00 p.m. Friday at the funeral home where family will greet friends from 5 - 7 p.m. Jackie was born in Adel on November 11, 1918, and married Dick Flinn in 1939. Together they farmed and raised a family. She is survived by four children: Jean (Gene) Lucas of Ankeny, Jon (Sandra) Flinn of Kansas, Mike (Dana) Flinn of Adel, and Jo (Dale) Berry of Urbandale, six grandchildren, many great grandchildren, and sister Doris Wilke. She was preceded in death by her husband Dick and sister Frieda Stump. Jackie was well known for her pies, jams and jellies. She and Dick were also active in the Polka Club of Iowa for many years.
