Jacqueline L. Taylor

Jacqueline L. Taylor, 84, of Des Moines (formerly of Winterset), passed away Friday, May 5, 2023 at MercyOne Medical Center in Des Moines.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, May 11, 2023 at the Fairview Cemetery, Madison County, Iowa. Memorials may be directed to the family for a future designation.

Jacqueline Louise (Miller) Taylor was born in Des Moines, Iowa on June 30, 1938, the daughter of John and Sylvia (Lovejoy) Miller. She graduated from East High School in Des Moines and later married Carl Taylor in 1956; they had four children. She lived in Des Moines most of her life but did reside in Winterset for 20 years.

She is survived by her children, Michael (Filmoena) Taylor of Winterset, Diana Beckman of Maxwell, and Rebecca (Butch) Gable of Johnston; 9 grandchildren, and 6 great-great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Carl; daughter, Teresa; sister, Marilyn Cosner; and one grandchild, Joshua.
