After graduation, he moved to the Des Moines area and married Jean on April 9, 1988. They lived in Des Moines until the fall of 1998 and then moved to Adel, Iowa where they have lived for the past 17 years. Jamie had several jobs in the insurance industry in the Des Moines metro area, his most recent at NCMIC Group in Clive for nearly 14 years. He enjoyed his job and his co-workers and we are very grateful for all of their support of his illness and cancer battle over the last two years. Jamie was a very social person and a huge fan of the Iowa Hawkeyes, Pittsburg Steelers and Dodgers Baseball. This past summer, he went to his first major league baseball game in Minneapolis, MN. Go Twins!! His favorite pastimes were spending time with his wife and daughters, family gatherings and sporting events! He was very into music from the 1970's and 1980's and saw several concerts, Journey (at least three times), The Eagles, and Reo Speedwagon and Styx. Until we meet again, Jamie, we love you!!
