Janet Swigert - Adel

Janet Swigert Adel, IA Janet passed away June 24th of pancreatic cancer. She was born in Stuart, Iowa on July 30, 1935 to Stella and Roy Kirlin. Funeral Services will be at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, June 27, at McCalley Funeral Home in Adel, with visitation from 10:00 a.m. until time of service. Burial will be at Brethren Cemetery in Dallas Center. Janet was married to Ray Slaughter, and later to Marvin Swigert, and was a long time resident of Adel. Janet is survived by daughters, Sheri (Mark) Sales and Sandy (Jon Adams) Roberg of Des Moines, and Connie (Allen) Thunem of Littleton, Colorado; grandsons, Matt and Eric Sales, Toby Gebauer, Nathan Thunem, and Alex Adams; and sister, Marvyl Lucey of Tucson, Arizona.
