Janice Caudle

Janice Caudle, 77, of Winterset died Monday, November 16, 2015, at Madison Square in Winterset. A visitation will be held from 9 to 11 a.m. on Wednesday, December 23, 2015 at the Macksburg United Methodist Church, Macksburg. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. at the church with burial to follow in the Moon Cemetery. Janice Keo Kimzey was born March 11, 1938 at home in New Virginia, Iowa, the daughter of Kenneth and Edna (Woods) Kimzey. She graduated from New Virginia High School in 1957 and later married John Caudle on July 12, 1958. He preceded her in death in 2009. Janice was a homemaker. She was a member of the Macksburg United Methodist Church. She enjoyed camping, fishing and playing cards. She also liked volunteering at church and socializing with friends and family. She is survived by her children, Richard (Deanne) Caudle of Waukee and Ronald Caudle of Des Moines; four grandchildren, Cornelius (Sara) Caudle, Kimberly Caudle, Malinda (Joshua) Buffon, and Dana Caudle; three great-grandchildren; daughter-in-law, Barbara Caudle. Janice was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, John; son, Roger; brothers, William, Robert, and Max; and twin sister, Joyce Benge. .
