A Memorial Service for Janice Fay Eivins was held 2:00 p.m. Saturday, September 27, 2014 at Hastings Funeral Home in Perry. Mr. Earl Davis provided words of comfort. Mona Holstrom was the pianist. Hymns chosen were: Amazing Grace and Beyond The Sunset. Interment took place at Elmwood Cemetery in Minburn, Iowa. Janice Fay Eivins, daughter of Neil John Hanan and Lilian Rose Dingman Hanan, was born November 8, 1938 in Webster City, Iowa and died September 23, 2014 in Panora, Iowa at the age of 75. As a child Janice moved to Eagleville, Missouri and went to school. On October 28, 1957 Janice and Bradley Clint Eivins were united in marriage. The couple moved to Texas until 1962 while Brad was in the United States Air Force. Then they moved to Minburn, Iowa until retirement. Janice and Brad traveled for a short time before moving to Linden, Iowa. Janice is preceded in death by her parents, husband Bradley in October 30, 2012 and brother Don Hanan. Janice is survived by her brother Keith Chelsvig of Lawrenceville, IL; sister Retha Parkhurst (Farris) of Bethany, MO; aunt Mavis Kleckner of Webster City, IA; uncle Duane Dingman of Webster City, IA; brothers and sisters in-law: Gordon and Doris Eivins of Panora, IA, Wilma and Earl Davis of Independence, MO, Fredrick and Ramona Eivins of Clarion, IA, Virginia McLoud of Zearing, IA, Dennis and Sharon Eivins of Ankeny, IA, Rhonda Shepard of Dexter, IA, Rhoda and Dennis Williams of Exira, IA; many beloved nieces, nephews, as well as great nieces and nephews, other relatives and many friends.
