Janis Hahn

Janis M. Hahn, 68, of Winterset, died Friday, July 11, 2014 at the Winterset Care Center North. A memorial service in memory of Janis will be held 10:00 a.m., Monday, July 14 at the Winterset Care Center North. Memorials may be directed to Janis’s family at 817 N. 6th Ave. Circle, Winterset, Iowa 50273. Janis Marie (Westfahl) Hahn was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin on June 10, 1946, the daughter of Charles and Marie (Neuhaus) Westfahl. Janis worked for Luther Manor Nursing Home in Milwaukee, Wisconsin for 13 ½ years where she operated the nursing home’s grocery store and was the Independent Living Coordinator for the South Terrace. Prior to working at Luther Manor, she had been a church secretary for 14 years. She is survived by her loving husband, Robert Hahn of Winterset; a daughter, Cynthia (David) Krauter of West Allis, WI; a son, Tim Hahn of Minneapolis, MN; nine grandchildren and four great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and a son, James Robert Hahn.
