Jean Marie Daggett

Jean Marie Daggett, 88, died July 20, 2011 of congestive heart failure. She was born September 15, 1922 in Altoona and lived most of her life in the Madison County area. She is survived by her daughter, Jane (Trish) Daggett of Omaha, NE; daughter-in-law, Shirley Daggett of Earlham; grandsons, Wade (Jenny) Daggett of Blair, NE; Clay (Gina) Daggett of Denver, CO; two step grandchildren, Todd (Janine) Woodsmall of Johnston; Tammy Morris of Garwin and eight great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 57 years, John Darrell Daggett and her son, Steven Daggett. A memorial service will be held 10:30 a.m., Saturday, July 23rd at the First Christian Church in Winterset where Jean was a member for over 65 years. The cremated remains will be interred in the Winterset Cemetery immediately following the service. Memorials may be directed to the First Christian Church, Winterset.
