Jerry Boagard Sr.

Jerry Boagard, son of the late Lucus Boagard and Pernella Burnham Miller, was born on July 09, 1932 in Wynne, Arkansas. Jerry grew up and worked in Arkansas before he moved to Des Moines Iowa. He worked at Hershey Chocolate factory before going into construction from where he retired. He was a long time Union Member at Liuna-Local 177. Jerry loved watching baseball and football and his westerns. His greatest gift was the love he had for his family. Jerry passed away on September 17th, 2021 at the age of 89. He was preceded in death by his wife Dorothy M Boagard; father Lucus Boagard; mother Pernella Burnham Miller; daughter Stella Boagard Grey; and his brother Richard Miller. Surviving Jerry are his children Jerry Boagard Jr., Christopher Boagard and Bari Carr; brother Gregory Prumbo; sisters Virginia Boagard and Darlene Cooper; 13 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren and a host of extended family and friends.
