Joanne Marie Seib

Joanne “Joanie” Marie Seib, 78, of Waukee, passed away peacefully with her daughters by her side on Thursday, February 15, 2024. A visitation will be held at 4:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M., Friday, February 23, 2024 at Caldwell Parrish Funeral Home & Crematory in Urbandale, IA. Private Catholic Graveside Services will be held. Joanie was born on October 29, 1945 to George and Eileen (Howe) Jasper in Des Moines, IA. Joanie lived most of her life in West Des Moines until moving to Waukee where she loved spending time with family and friends. Joanie was always fun to be around and had a great sense of humor.  She was kind, caring and genuine. She was a devout Catholic who was always willing to help someone in need. She was loved by many and will be missed by all.

She is survived by her daughters, Ann (Robert Wahlert) Koethe of Waukee, Katie (Luke) Petersen of Waukee, one step-daughter, Sharri Moreland of Rocky Ford, CO, six grandchildren; Alexis Koethe, Colby Koethe, Ava Petersen, Max Moreland, Emily Moreland and Gracie Moreland. She is preceded in death by her husband Norman Seib, one daughter, Margaret Seib and one brother, Stephen Jasper.
