John Archer Beals Sr.

John Beals Sr., age 74 of Bouton, passed away on Friday, November 11, 2022, at his sons home in Johnston, IA. A celebration of his life will be held at a later date. Memorials will be given to his family and may be left at the Carris Family Funeral Home & Cremation Care. John Archer Beals Sr. was born on May 19, 1948, at Perry, IA to Albert Kelsey and Bonna Luella (Moore) Beals. He attended Perry High School. He served his country in the United States Navy. He was united in marriage to Peggy Ann Moorhead May 26, 1971. He worked at Oscar Mayer and IBP. He enjoyed fishing, working on cars and watching wrestling. In death he rejoins his wife Peggy, parents Albert and Bonna Beals, and a son James Beals. Left to cherish Johns memory are his sons, John (Gina) Beals, Johnston, IA, Christopher Beals, Bouton, IA, and Jason (Pamela) Beals, New London, WI, and grandchildren, Andrew Beals, Rylee Beals, and Jordyn Beals.
