Justin Allan Smith, born on March 3, 1980, in Melbourne, Florida, left this world on September 21, 2023, leaving a void that can never be filled. He was the loving son of Brian Smith and Barbara Stribley,
Justin was a man of many roles and accomplishments throughout his life, but at his core, he was a simple man who valued the essence of life's simpler pleasures. He was a dedicated engineer, devoting his time and talents to serving our nation's veterans at the VA, where he made a significant impact in the lives of those he served.
In addition to his professional endeavors, Justin was a true patriot, having proudly served in the United States Army as an infantryman. He demonstrated immense courage and selflessness during his three tours of duty, including two in Afghanistan and one in Iraq. His unwavering commitment to his country was a testament to his character and values.
Outside of his professional and military life, Justin found joy in the little things that brought happiness to his heart. He had a passion for watching television, he was also an avid shooter and enjoyed spending time at the range, honing his skills and sharing quality moments with friends and family.
He is survived by his wife, Trina; children, Lanaya Smith, Brantley, Salena Krikee, Kasey Gonzalis, Jaymee Gonzalis; grandchildren, Lincoln and Maeve Krikee; father, Brian Smith; mother, Barb Stribley; sisters, Jen (Brad) Schoer and Ashley Smith; Half brother, Austin Smith; nieces, Kimberly (Devin) Bausch, Nevaeh, and Jaelynn Smith; and nephews, Christopher and Chance Fischer.
Justin was preceded in death by first wife, Carrie Smith; step-father, Greg Stribley; grandpa, Donald Smith and grandma, Glanaya Smith.
