Karal Ann Potter

Karal Ann Potter, 79, passed away on Friday, May 27, 2016 in Adel, Iowa. Family will greet friends Tuesday, May 31, 2016 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at McCalley Funeral Home in Adel, with a prayer service at 7:00 p.m. A private family burial will be the next day. Karal was born on November 12, 1936 in Des Moines, Iowa to Lester and Martha Losee. Karal worked in the service industry for many years. She loved country music, crossword puzzles, flowers, fishing, and spending time with family and friends. Karal is survived by her sons, Randy (Rosanne) Dickson, James (Jeanine) Dickson, and Scott Dickson; grandchildren, Ryan, Clinton (Deanna), Kelli, Janelle (Sean), and Harley (Lolita); great grandchildren, Angelina, Gage, Teagan, McCully, Cameron, and Hailey; and siblings, Martha, Ralph, and Jon. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles; parents, Lester and Martha; daughter, Kelly, and brother, Lester.
