Kathy Kim Elifrits

Kathy Kim Elifrits was born on January 31, 1965 in Santa Monica, California to Roland Earl Elifrits and Frances Mae (Blakely) Elifrits. Kathy and her family moved to Iowa when she was young, and she went to Perry High School. She had an eye for finding antiques at rummage sales. Kathy worked at the local bar and cleaned houses, but her number one job was being a mother to her four children, Natalie, Gideon, Noah, and Emma, and her dog little bitty. She enjoyed crafting, treasure hunting, and gypsum hunting. Kathy passed away on December 29, 2023 at the Greene County Medical Center in Jefferson at the age of 58. She was preceded in death by her parents Roland and Frances, son Noah Ferguson, brothers-in-law Thomas Jordan and Noah Bass, sister-in-law Dawn Elifrits, and nephew Brandon Elifrits. Kathy will be dearly missed by her partner Rick Riley of Bagley, Iowa; three children: Natalie Eastman and her husband Corey of Perry, Iowa, Gideon Elifrits and his wife Katie of Otho, Iowa, and Emma Mulder of Burnside, Iowa; her furbaby little bitty elifrity; grandchildren: Adriana Eastman, Bryce Eastman, Grant Hurtt, Korbyn Elifrits, Ryan Ferguson, Finn Ferguson, Kinsley Elifrits, Kreedyn Elifrits, and Zara Eastman; nine step grandchildren; one great-grandchild; brother Steven Elifrits of Florida; sister Laurie Bess of West Des Moines, Iowa; other relatives, and many friends. *Celebration of Life Services will be held from 3:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Friday, January 5, 2024 with family present from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Hastings Funeral Home in Perry.
