Keith Harder Louk, son of Eugene H. Louk and Ina Belle Smith Louk was born October 16, 1920 in Jefferson, Iowa and died at the Dallas County Hospital March 2, 2005, at the age of 84 years, 4 months and 16 days. Keith grew up in Jefferson and attended country school near there. Keith was united in marriage to Jeanne DeWitt. They were the parents of 2 children: Nancy and Dean. The family lived in Jefferson before moving to Twin Lakes. In 1982, Keith met and married Bernice Mease. The couple made their home in Winterset. After a time, Keith moved to Perry. Keith worked as a mechanic in many places including Des Moines, Jefferson, Perry and Ft. Dodge. He also farmed. Keith enjoyed dance bands and spent many weekends going dancing. He also had a love for horses, attending rodeos and horse shows. Keith was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Jeanne, his wife Bernice, granddaughter Tammy McClintick, brother Edgar Louk and sister Maxine Black. He is survived by his daughter: Nancy McClintick and her husband Hubert of Perry; son: Dean Louk and his wife Jean of Webster City; five grandchildren: Nichole Brown and her husband Mike of Jefferson, Mark McClintick and his wife Tammy of Martensdale, Jason and Chris Louk both of Webster City and Mindy Louk of Ft. Dodge; seventeen great-grandchildren; other relatives and friends.
