Kelly Pittman

Kelly Pittman, 49 of Adel, passed away Monday, April 22, 2019 at Mercy One Hospice in Johnston. Visitation will be held Thursday, April 25 from 4-7 P.M. with a Celebration of Life following at 7:00 P.M. at Caldwell Parrish Funeral Home-McCalley Chapel in Adel. Kelly was born November 15, 1969 to George and Sandra (Martin) Porter. She married David Pittman on September 27, 1997. They had two boys, Dylan and Dakoda. Kelly was employed at the YMCA, Kindercare, Kids Corner and Base. One of Kelly’s passions was kids. There wasn’t a kid that she knew that didn’t have a piece of her heart. She would care for each and every one of them like they were her own. She enjoyed her kids sports activities, camping, amusement parks, and listening to live music, especially Ghost Riders. Kelly is survived by her husband, David; her boys, Dylan and Dakoda; mother, Sandra; stepdad, Butch Waddell; sister, Janine (Lloyd) Lieser; brother, Cap (Diane) Porter; nieces, Aubri (Howard) Kenney, Alyson Lieser and Katie Pittman; nephews, Clint (Ana) Lieser and Drew Pittman; numerous other friends and relatives, and her precious dog, Myla. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to the family. Arrangements are being handled by Caldwell Parrish Funeral Home – McCalley Chapel.
