Kenneth Marvin Bricker passed away September 23, 2016 at his home at the age of 94. Kenneth was born December 5, 1921, to Charley and Mabel Bridges Bricker at home in Madison County. He attended DeSoto School and graduated in 1941. After graduation he took over the family farm. He loved the farm. He always said you got to do something different every day. In 1947 he married Ethel Marie Carter. Marie passed away in January of 1962. On August 24, 1963, Kenneth married Osa Marie Osborn. They lived on the family farm until January of 2007, when they sold the farm and moved to Winterset. Kenneth was preceded in death by his first wife, Marie, his parents, and his sister, Celia Bricker Smith. He is survived by his wife, Osa; sons, Keith of Colorado Springs, CO, Ray (Cheryllynn) of Des Moines, Phil (Sharon) of Perry, and Steve (Jeannie) Osborn of Adel; grandchildren, Shelley (Craig) McIntyre, Alison Gaskell, Amanda Bricker, Jessica (Dan) Spencer, Cassandra (Dom) Selgrade, Zachary Osborn, Madeline Osborn, Olivia Osborn, and Emilia Osborn; and great grandchildren, Alexandra, Jacob, and Elizabeth Gaskell, Whitney McIntyre, Trinity, Lumen, and Orion Selgrade, and Alexandra Spencer. Funeral services will be held 2 PM Monday, September 26, 2016 at McCalley-Collins Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Penn Center Cemetery at Earlham. Family will greet friends 1 hour prior to service time. Memorials may be directed to Unity Point Hospice. McCalley-Collins Funeral Home in Winterset is in charge of arrangements.
