Kerry Lynn Weyers

Kerry Weyers, age 47 of Perry, peacefully passed away surrounded by her family on Thursday, August 11, 2022, at the MercyOne Johnston Hospice Care in Johnston, IA. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, August 17, 2022, at 10:30 a.m. at the Carris Family Funeral Home & Cremation Care in Perry. Visitation will be on Tuesday, August 16, 2022, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the Carris Family Funeral Home & Cremation Care in Perry. Burial will be in the Fairview Cemetery near Perry, IA. Memorials will be given to Fairview Ladies Aid and may be left at the Carris Family Funeral Home & Cremation Care. Kerry Lynn Weyers was born on June 26, 1975, at Des Moines, IA to Keith J. and Sandra Ann (Royer) Weyers. She graduated from Perry High School and then attended AIB in Des Moines. She worked at Sears, Sams Club, Qwest and then Nationwide insurance company. She was a member of the Fairview United Methodist Church and the Alpha Iota Sorority. She enjoyed travelling especially to the West in the Rocky Mountains, taking photographs, camping, and "Jeeping" in the mountains. She especially loved spending time with her family and friends. Left to cherish Kerrys memory are her parents, Keith and Sandra Weyers, Perry, IA, brother Bret (Linda) Weyers, Bouton, IA, sister, Christi (Greg) Walkup, New Sharon, IA nieces and nephews, Elizabeth Weyers, Brett (Keasha) Walkup, Stephen Walkup, Kelsey Walkup and Brock Walkup.
