Kevin Hill

Lawrence Kevin Hill, 72, of Adel, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, May 10, 2023 at his home.

Kevin was born on May 19, 1950 to Larry and Fern Hill. As a young man, he played guitar with several bands, including the South Dallas County Crewcut Cowboy Band, and the Wapsie Band. Kevin could play any stringed instrument including the piano. In 1998, he became a piano technician, an occupation he loved and retired from in 2018. He loved the Beatles and was a fan of the St. Louis Cardinals and the Boston Celtics.

In 1998 Kevin met Jane E. Wilson and the two were each other’s lifelong companions and friends for 25 years.

Kevin is survived by his wife, Jane, and her children, Paul, Sara, and Adam. He was preceded in death by his parents, Larry and Fern; and brother, KC Hill.

A visitation will be held from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m., Wednesday, May 17, 2023 at Caldwell Parrish Funeral Home, Adel Chapel. Burial will take place at a later date in the Oakdale Cemetery.
